Retreats at Shambhala Mountain
Removed from the distractions and busy mind of city life, Shambhala Mountain Center has been hosting Buddhist meditation retreats for more than three decades. We are a global destination for fresh, relevant, and applicable programs that assist you in exploring your mind and experience through the Buddha’s teachings. Each year we attract world-renowned teachers who have cultivated the wisdom, through personal meditation practice, to be able to reach out and lead others skillfully.
We welcome practitioners with all levels of experience. If you are new to meditation and want to explore the Buddhist teachings you may have read, there are programs that offer instruction, guidance, and support. You can choose the teacher, style, and tradition that appeals to you individually. If you have experience and want to deepen your practice, we hold regular meditation intensives and offer Buddhist teachings that focus on a particular topic. We have something for every style, interest, and level of commitment to the Buddhist path.
